Aspen Veil Sires

Aspen Veil carefully selects the best males for the program, using the foundations of health, temperament, functionability, and the UKC breed standard. As soon as male is considered for the program – no matter the age – he is evaluated based on our preferred criteria and the training he has had and what else needs to be done. Then it's his time to shine! He will prove his worth in the conformation ring and his strengths will be utilized for additional sports and work he can participate and excel in. With the breed's working dog ancestry, we want to tap into those natural talents and express their full potential.

Stud Use

All breeding males are available for stud to approved females after both dogs have been fully OFA health-tested (including CFVII, either confirmed by DNA or proof by parentage) and obtained a CHIC number and has earned at least one UKC Champion title or AKC Certificate of Merit. There must not be any issues involving current health concerns, temperament or behavioral complications, and/or questionable history. A Brucellosis test must be completed a month before breeding and a copy of the official results must be provided. We are currently offering artificial insemination (AI) and natural breeding services on an individual basis.

Kaiser is a very confident boy with an eagerness to meet new people and dogs. He is curious of his surroundings, wanting to check out every little detail, whether by nose or mouth. He loves leashed walks, enjoying his 'sniffaris' and getting out that leftover energy after his high-speed zoomies in the fenced backyard. Kaiser acts like the big brother of the pack, showing the ropes and adjusts play styles accordingly.

Kaiser earned his UKC Champion title at a relatively young age, only a little over a year old. He enjoys the show ring and flaunts what he's got, with excellent reach and movement. He has a medium-high drive, which has made him great for performance sports, like precision coursing and Barn Hunt. He's our "jack-of-all-trades" and will try a bit of everything, which has been helpful in sampling new sports and activities.

Kaiser was the first Alaskan Klee Kai to win Best of Breed and to win Best in Miscellaneous while the breed was in the Miscellaneous Group. He was also the second Klee Kai and the first male to earn his Certificate of Merit while in Miscellaneous. Come December 2025, he also became the first Alaskan Klee Kai to win Best of Breed at the AKC National Championship.

Dean is a very happy boy who always has a smile on his face when he's running around and playing with the other dogs and his toys. A little more on the cautious side, he generally follows Kaiser's lead in new situations and settings. Once comfortable, he is very rambunctious goof who has a lot of say with high-pitched barks to deep purring howls.

Dean is purely a performance dog as he does not meet the qualifications to be part of the breeding program. He is an ambassador to showcase the sports and skills the breed can excel in, while also being a good representative due to his calmer demeanor.
